Anika Gothal

Hi! My name is Anika, and I am the vice president of the biotech club. I am a Biomedical Engineering student with a passion for the intersection of healthcare and technology. My motivation in research is to use data science, genomics, and bioinformatics to solve problems in medicine. As an undergraduate research assistant at CSULB, I have developed and evaluated an AI-driven clinical prediction system that integrates high-dimensional genomic and clinical data to predict survival in non-small cell lung cancer, using NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus datasets. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, drawing, and going to the beach!
